Consortium on Inclusive Schooling Practices

Overview

The Consortium on Inclusive Schooling Practices was funded by the Office of Special Education Programs, U.S. Department of Education, to help build the systemic capacity of state and local agencies to provide inclusive educational services. To assist states and localities in meeting this goal, the Consortium conducted a variety of activities that shared a common focus—gathering and synthesizing information that will assist others in their efforts to develop more inclusive educational systems. This information was leveraged strategically in demonstration states and districts, and more broadly in partnership with statewide systems change projects in 18 states. The products on this Web site are two of many that were developed by this institute. Additional publications and materials are included in the reference lists of these products.
